En este conjunto de caricaturas "El Chango" Cabral maneja un estilo costumbrista, donde registra la vida cotidiana, las costumbres, la vida social, los cambios sociales, así como la inflación, la carestía, la desigualdad y el desempleo. En esta crítica social, aunque ya no dibuja temas políticos, hace también una crítica al régimen. Ya no dibuja a los personajes públicos de la clase gobernante pero retrata una crítica social, como las malas costumbres de la población, la inseguridad que viven las clases sociales y la población en general. Retrata a una gran variedad de personajes como vendedores, policías, cirqueros, boxeadores y toreros. La riqueza de su trabajo consiste en el enfoque sociológico y de patrones de conducta.

En esta portada Cabral representa a una mujer sentada en un sillón, con la pierna cruzada y recargada en un cojín. Por la expresión de la dama y del personaje que la acompaña se nota que están a disgusto o que hubo un conflicto. Durante los años 20's y 30's se ilustró mucho a la mujer, hasta el año 1936 que llega a su apogeo. Por otro lado, destaca la tipografía en donde el autor juega con el cabezal de la publicación; dominan los colores obscuros y las sombras y se hace uso de recuadros o cuadriculados en uno de los cojines.
