Al autor le gustaba combinar las tintas negras matizándolas con color amarillo, además de que durante los años 40's y 50's había una tendencia a combinar colores fuertes. En el cartel se aprecia el estilo y la forma que usa el caricaturista para representar al protagonista de la película; aunque su rostro no aparece muy detallado es reconocible por su anatomía corpulenta. Por otro lado, a García Cabral le encantaba jugar con la tipografía y los estilos de las letras que aparecen unas veces con marcos y otras sin ellos. El cartel es una forma de grabado o de estampado, y para su elaboración el autor trabajó con los técnicos caratulistas.
